Afternoon tea Lord Mayor

We had our very first Ladies’ Day Out for this month of Feb 2026…Well, not exactly all ladies Some of our lovely members couldn’t make it, so we had a few spare invitations floating about, and before we knew it, family members had been recruited. But sure, the more the merrier! The Little Women Coffee Club received 25 personal invitations from the Lord Mayor of Dublin — or as we now proudly call him, “OUR RAY” — for Afternoon Tea in the Mansion House. Yes… that Mansion House! Fancy doesn’t even begin to cover it.The room itself was set in absolute splendor — from floor to ceiling — and everywhere you looked, there was history and stories whispering from the walls. It felt like stepping into another world. As we tucked into our finger sandwiches and treats (which somehow filled everyone up without us noticing), the tea and coffee flowed like magic. One pot would be empty, and poof! another appeared. We were treated like queens, just suited us all We were also entertained by a beautiful grand Piano being played in the background while we ate and after that, After the entertainment, we had time to mingle, chat, laugh, and of course grab some photos with OUR RAY  — because sure, you can’t miss that opportunity! Then it was time to wander through the Mansion House, exploring and soaking up all the incredible history around us. Every corner had something new to admire.By the end of the day, everyone was happily exhausted. Honestly, you just can’t beat a day that leaves you completely lost for words. It was magical, memorable, and full of laughter from start to finish.

Ladies who love to lunch

At Little Women Coffee Club, whether we’re gathering for one of our marvelous Monday meet-ups or enjoying one of our spontaneous get-togethers, we continue to support local businesses while building meaningful connections within our community.Along the way, some of the wonderful people we’ve met have given us a lovely nickname: “The Ladies who Love to Lunch.” And while we do enjoy sharing a meal together, it’s about so much more than lunch. It’s about encouragement, connection, and friendship for all who need it.

ABBA Tribute

Oh What a Night… Gimme! Gimme! Gimme! More of That Feeling! The ladies of the Little Women Coffee Club took a chance, took a chance, took a chanc-chanc on the ABBA tribute at the Helix, and what a winner takes it all kind of night it was! From the very first note, we were instantly transformed into full-on Dancing Queens. The dazzling costumes, sensational lights and pitch-perfect music had us saying Thank You for the Music again and again. It was Super Trouper stuff from start to finish.Strangers became friends as ABBA lovers united in song — because nothing brings people together quite like a good singalong to Mamma Mia. The crowd was fabulous, with outfits inspired by every era of ABBA-mania, proving once and for all that ABBA style never does Waterloo under pressure.Behind it all, the big screen was a real Knowing Me, Knowing You moment, showing vintage newspaper clippings and throw-back footage charting ABBA’s rise to fame and glory — pure gold for fans old and new.And when the night was over? Well… nobody really wanted to say I Have a Dream… of Leaving. The crowd spilled out singing, dancing, laughing and chatting — clear signs that this show really You Bet Your Life delivered. One thing’s for sure: the Little Women Coffee Club know how to party. Not afraid to let their hair down, sparkle like it’s the 70s, and prove that girls just wanna Dance, Dance, Dance. We’re already counting down till the next one — because once you’ve had a night like that… you just can’t help but say Mamma Mia, here we go again!
